Tour Description

The Rocky Mountain adventure tour is a trip that criss-crosses the Rocky Mountains several times, covers 2 provinces and 2 states. From the foothills to the highest peaks, the Rockies offer unimaginable scenery and breathtaking beauty. Sit back, squeeze the throttle and breathe the fresh mountain air. We start our 2450 mile journey leaving Calgary AB travelling south across the border into the USA, crossing two national parks. Through the west half of Montana and across into Idaho where we then encounter the Lolo pass - another highlight of the trip. The route then turns North through the amazing Coeur D'Alene area with lakes and crystal clear waters. We return back to Canada via the province of British Columbia. The Kootenay lakes and the Okanagan are only of a few of the major scenic attractions BC has to offer. After a rest day in the Okanagan we point the bikes north and head to Alberta to visit the well-known Jasper/Banff areas. Travelling parallel through the Rockies south to Crowsnest Pass. The Frank Slide was a tragic rockslide that buried a mining town of Frank in 1903. The interpretive center reveals the complete run down of the disastrous event. Then back to our starting point "Cow Town".
